Best places to snorkel in the British Virgin Islands

The British Virgin Islands has some of the most pristine and clear waters in the entire world. With the incredible visibility, vibrant coral and reefs and immense amount of fish and wildlife there is no better way to explore its beauty than with a snorkeling excursion.

We love packing up the boat and some lunch and heading out for the day to one these amazing snorkeling spots.

Leinster Bay

From the beach get to the finest snorkeling in St. John’s around Watermelon Cay. Our favorite spot to snorkel is the west and north sides of the cay it is deeper and has a plethora of fish and other sea creatures as well

The Bight

This is a nice stop in the middle of a sailing excursion. The best snorkeling is found over the seagrass or on the reef at the south end of the beach.

The Baths

A stunning place to explore and hike through the baths and caves. After that, it’s always nice to throw on some goggles and flippers and take a look down under for some native fish and plants.

Great Dog

Snorkelers will thrilled by the sight of the colorful corals and sponges.
